Senior Product Designer
About the role
Our client is building the future of AI companionship, redefining how millions connect with AI through a market-leading platform. With 50 million users in two years and a mission to reach 100M then 500M, they are creating entirely new categories of ethical and human-first AI experiences. They are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer to join their growing team and shape this exciting future.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design across multiple product areas from concept through delivery
- Translate complex product and technical challenges into intuitive, high-quality user experiences
- Balance speed, experimentation, and craft across fast-moving initiatives
- Design for engagement, retention, monetisation, and conversion at scale
- Create and iterate on visual content (image + video) to support product exploration, in-product experiences, and marketing/growth surfaces
- Contribute original product ideas and creative concepts
- Identify opportunities beyond the immediate brief
- Help shape new features and interaction patterns through proactive exploration
- Push ideas further through experimentation and thoughtful challenge
- Work confidently across modern design, prototyping, and creative tooling
- Experiment with new workflows that improve speed and output quality
- Operate comfortably close to engineering constraints and implementation realities
- Use emerging tools thoughtfully to accelerate exploration and execution
- Use AI image/video generation tools as part of the design process
- Communicate design reasoning clearly and confidently
- Defend ideas thoughtfully
- Push back when needed
- Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and Leadership
What we're looking for
Product Design Experience
Strong experience designing high-quality consumer digital products, with a portfolio demonstrating strong consumer product case studies and high visual craft.
Technical Fluency & Prototyping
Strong technical fluency and comfort working with AI tools; strong prototyping skills (design tools vs. code-based prototypes) and technical depth.
Product Thinking & Innovation
Excellent product thinking, interaction design, and the ability to contribute original ideas, identify opportunities, and shape new features.
Communication & Collaboration
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to communicate design reasoning clearly, defend ideas, and align cross-functionally.
Autonomy & Ownership
Confidence operating independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; high ownership and strong decision-making ability; impact-first prioritizer.
AI/NSFW Product Experience
Comfortable working with NSFW product experiences; bonus for experience with AI-native, conversational, social, or highly interactive products.
